Together we care, learn and shine

Together we care, learn and shine - Let Your Light Shine - Matthew 5:16

  1. Our School
  2. Our School Day

Our School Day:

Out of School Club

Places are available when booked via the school office.  Breakfast Club is available from 8am at a cost of £3.00 per session including breakfast.

Collective Worship

Children and staff are invited to collective worship each day at 9am for 20 minutes.

Morning playtimes

Children have a morning break from 10:45 - 11am.

Lunch

Children have lunch at 12pm and it ends at 1pm.

Drop-off and collection

At the beginning (8.50am) and end of the school day (3.30pm), parents are encouraged into the playground. This helps to build up a close relationship between home and school – we want to have good links with all parents.  If normal arrangements have to be altered (eg you are delayed or another person is collecting your child), please let us know.  This avoids any confusion or upset.

Out of School Club

Places are available when booked via the school office.  After School Club is available from 3.30pm until 6pm at a cost of £6.00 per session including a light tea.

Getting to school

To get to and from school, walking is definitely the best option! There are lots of benefits: it’s healthier than travelling by car, it improves the safety of pedestrians and road-users, and it respects nearby residents and parking regulations. Alternatively, we have bike-racks. If you do need to travel by car, please park wisely.

Absence from school

Pupil absence needs to be reported to the school office by 9am on the morning of absence.  We ask that medical appointments wherever possible are made out of school hours.  If this not possible, then please provide us with a confirmation of appointment letter. A telephone call home will be made for any children not arriving at school by close of registration at 9.10am.
