Aims and Ethos

Our aim is to deliver an enquiry based curriculum, underpinned by our Christian Values of Respect, Friendship, Truth, Trust, Responsibility and Forgiveness, that shows progression and high expectations while retaining flexibility and creativity through active learning in real-life contexts.

We also incorporate problem solving and have developed an environment that encourages independent learning and the application of basic skills. Our curriculum gives space for learning beyond subject boundaries and allows pupils to feel success both in the classroom and the outside world.

Safeguarding is a high priority in our school and we listen to all of our children. Safeguarding Policy procedures will be followed at all times for the protection of your children. The designated Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Marlene Miller Headteacher and the deputy lead is Mrs Victoria Johnson who can both be contacted at the school if you have any concerns regarding a child.
